Alison’s Authentic Shepherd’s Pie
So simple, even a man can make it.
Step 1 - get ingredients
Step 2 - make the lamb bit
Step 3 -cook potatoes, meet Elinor
Step 4 - grill, serve, eat
Get stuff
This may then earn you a very special sparkly, blue gowned Disney lady with birds, autographed for rememberance by Miss Elinor Mae.
By this time you should have unearthed the oven/grill proof casserole dish.
Then, while the frying pan and saucepan do their thing on the hob, maybe you too will be extended the invitation to go upstairs and play with Miss Elinor Mae in her pink bedroom.
Maybe she will play you a tune so you can dance with her. Pure delight.
I created this site quickly and easily with Alison’s help using Serif’s WebPlus X2.
STEP 3 - cook potatoes and
play with Miss Elinor Mae
Wash and peel four large potatoes. Chop roughly and add to cooking pot with enough water to cover by one inch. Salt a bit. Cover and boil until fork tender.
Then, mash the potatoes with some milk or cream and a knob of butter. Taste and adjust seasoning (pepper).
No lumps allowed, although sometimes the road ahead is full of them. Actually, there are probably more potholes than lumps, but ...
Of course, you have a sous chef, the delightful six-year-old and well-pixilated Miss Elinor Mae who will also most likely win over your heart, too. And, she may even gift you with a special Princess Heart card.
