With so many problems over the last few days with uploading of files and ftp error messages, I took it upon myself to try and explain the easiest way possible to help show what goes on behind the ftp sessions we all create when making our sites and also list the error codes.

Just before I give you the link for the tutorial, can I just say if you are having issues with the uploading of files via the built in FTP feature in WPX2, then publish your files locally (to your own hard drive in a temp directory) and then upload using a third party ftp client such as filezilla or smartftp etc. This will save you quite sometime in posting in the forums and waiting for specific answers to different error codes you maybe seeing when ftp'ing to your sites using WPX2. Then of course submit your problem and error messages to the tech department at Serif.
