Color Wheels (PP X3 files)
By Ken Cope
Having just upgraded to PagePlus X3, I thought it might be a useful exercise to create a colour wheel. I ended up making two, one with shades (black added) the other with tints (white added).
They're both in PagePlus X3 ppp file formats (I've left them as created so you can dissect how they've been made). It's simply a case of:
1) opening the ppp files individually.
2) Select the 'edit all layers' button and, pressing Ctrl+A, group the layers.
3) Now drag each wheel in turn across to the 'My Gallery' tab and name them.
I've called mine Colour Wheel shades and Colour wheel tints.
If you want to use them to make up a particular colour scheme, it's quite simply a case of dragging either (or both onto the pasteboard; selecting the colour picker on the colour tab, drag it to the relevant colour and set your swatch.
Each change is a 20% difference, if you wanted a finer gradient, keep the original file safe and adjust the transparency of the shade or tint layer accordingly.
Hope you find this helpful!
